Champagne Dinner
Description: A lot of the big Champagne houses use grapes produced from contract growers all over the Champagne region, with a subsequent variation in quality – small growers Champagnes, however, are different – they do everything from growing the grapes and harvesting, to making and maturing the Champagne (often in much smaller quantities), with greater control of quality at every stage. “Champagne, above all, is a wine, made from grapes that grow in the ground. It should be thought of, like other great wines, as having a provenance – a terroir, as the French say – and a home on the dinner table.” 5 Course Food & Wine $75 per person. Oregon Wine Tasting at Copeland Restaurant

Try Before You Buy Holiday Wine Tasting
Description: The holidays are fast approaching. With them comes the stress of deciding which wines to serve with holiday meals or at parties, and which are appropriate for gift giving. The Lambertville Station Restaurant offers a solution with its “Try Before You Buy” Holiday Wine Tasting Event on Friday, November 4 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The cost for the event is $40 in advance and $50 at the door. Advance reservations may be made by calling the Lambertville Station Restaurant or by coming to the restaurant prior to November 4th. Guests will have the opportunity to visit various tasting stations to sample wines and sparkling wines from around the world in a relaxed, informal setting. Representatives of several wineries will also be on hand to discuss the merits of their wines, suggest food and wine pairings and provide tips for selecting wines for various holiday occasions and gift giving. A wide array of hors d’oeuvres will be served, so guests can experience how the wines complement and enhance various foods and flavors. All wines will be available for immediate sale at special pricing.
